Choosing Your Design

Arizona Shower Door offers a variety of different enclosure options and configurations. Below are some tips on getting the shower enclosure you want.

  • Door Style - Choose between the sliding bypass doors or a swing style door. Some examples of our Slider Styles are TE/SE and LETE/LESE. These styles of showers have a clamp-on towel bar and handle. The LETET/LESET and ETE/ESE with 1/4", 5/16",3/8", and S-Curve glass use a though the glass style of handle and towel bar. For a visual representation of the different Sliders please refer to Example 1.0. If a Swing style door what you're looking for we have several swing design styles of doors. CDM and R Style Doors use a clamp on handle while our CDMP, RP, MP, and CDFMP have an 8X8 through the glass handle. The CDM, CDMP, CDFMP and FD swing doors have a metal bottom and drip rail with sweep, while the MP, R, and RP units have a removable Polycarbonate sweep giving a cleaner look and more of the Euro style Shower enclosures. For a visual representation of the different Swing Styles please refer to Example 2.0. Arizona Shower Door also offers our HG Euro Style units. These Styles of units are considered frameless using an 8x8 through the glass handle and either Clamps or U-channel for any panels.
  • Glass Thickness – Arizona Shower Door offers 3/16", 1/4", 5/16", and 3/8" thick glass. Please contact a local branch for more information on what glass is available.
  • Glass Design - Add more elegance to your shower enclosure by changing the design of the glass itself. Clear, Reed, Obscure, Niagara Rain, and Satin Etch are a few of our stock Styles of glass. For a visual representation of the different Sliders please refer to Example 3.0.
  • Metal Finishes - To ensure that your bathroom's entire hardware colors match Arizona Shower Door has seven stock finishes to accommodate. Chrome, Brushed Nickel, Oil Rubbed Bronze, Gold, Satin, White, and Heritage Brass. For a visual representation of the different Sliders please refer to Example 4.0.

  • Glossary of Terms
    Drip Rail with Sweep-
    Attaches to the bottom of framed shower doors. Helps deflect water back into the shower enclosure, without detracting from the look of your shower.
    Fixed Panel- Glass Panel of an enclosure that does not move.
    Frameless-
    Is a Shower Enclosure that does not have metal adhered to the edge of the glass. Frameless units can have limited metal: metal parts would include the header, clips on any stationary panels, hinges, and handles.
    Polycarbonate Sweep-
    Clear Adhesive Backing for frameless shower doors. Helps deflect water back into the shower enclosure.
    SCurve- A glass shower door with a glass style of handle and towel bar.
    Semi-Frameless-
    Semi-Frameless Shower Enclosure door does not have any frame around it. The Tempered Glass and any Stationary Glass are fully framed.
    U-Channel-
    Aluminum piece used where glass meets base or tile allowing for adjustability and stability of Stationary Panels.
